I am trying to install SQL Server 2014 Express with Advanced Services (SQLEXPRADV) on my Windows
7 Enterprise, 64-bit machine. SP1 is applied, as per winver I have Build 7601: Service Pack
1. The exact file is SQLEXPRADV_x64_ENU.exe. As per http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143506(v=sql.120).aspx,
this is a supported OS. I am getting this error -
"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."
Not sure how I can find more info, or get around it? Any thoughts or inputs would be appreciated.
